Cincinnati, OH is home to a lot of cool spots for music and over the last few years the city has brought on a couple of high profile music festivals. Both the Bunbury Festival and the brand new Buckle Up Festival take place on the banks of the Ohio River at Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove. The inaugural Buckle Up Festival hosted a very diverse roster of artists. Big name artists such as Alabama, Willie Nelson, Allison Kraus and Union Station, Emmylou Harris, Jamey Johnson, The Band Perry, Old Crow Medicine Show and Marty Stuart wowed the patrons. While newer, up and coming acts like Sturgill Simpson, Caitlyn Smith, Eli Young Band, The Lone Bellow, Jeremy Pinnell and the 55s, Sundy Best and many more made tons of new fans. It was a great mix over three days that took place on six stages with over 80 acts that had Cincy kicking up a little dust and enjoying our great city. Here are a few photos to showcase some of the highlights from day two. I hope you enjoy!
